The ADVANCED DISTRIBUTOR PRODUCTS ha10936a140a0004s is an uncased evaporator A-coil designed for upflow air handler and furnace applications in residential and light-commercial split-system cooling installations. This coil is configured for left-hand orientation and is factory-equipped with a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) metering device, making it compatible with R-410A refrigerant systems. At 14 inches wide, it fits a range of equipment cabinets in the 1.5-to-3-ton capacity range. HVAC technicians install this coil as part of a split-system or package upgrade where the indoor coil requires replacement or new installation without a factory enclosure.
This coil is suited for upflow configurations in residential split systems. The uncased design allows the coil to be field-installed into an existing or new coil cabinet, giving technicians flexibility when working with multiple equipment brands and cabinet sizes. The left-hand orientation determines the refrigerant connection side and must be confirmed against the air handler or furnace cabinet layout before ordering. The factory-installed TXV eliminates the need to source and braze a separate metering device in the field, reducing labor time on the installation.
Designed for use in upflow split-system cooling applications using R-410A refrigerant, in the 1.5-to-3-ton capacity range. Verify cabinet dimensions and left-hand connection orientation against the existing equipment before installation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician certified to handle R-410A refrigerant under EPA Section 608 regulations. Shut down and lock out the system at the disconnect before removing or installing the coil. Confirm left-hand orientation matches the cabinet and refrigerant line routing before securing the coil. After installation, pressure-test and evacuate the refrigerant circuit to the equipment manufacturer specifications before recharging the system.
