The ADP AE33136D210 is a right-hand cased evaporator coil rated at 3 tons (36,000 BTU/h) for use in residential split-system air conditioners and heat pumps. It uses a piston metering device and is compatible with R-410A refrigerant. The copper slab construction features a high-efficiency lanced fin design and copper refrigerant connections sized at 3/4 inch (suction) and 3/8 inch (liquid) for easy brazing on both copper and aluminum slab systems. The cabinet is fully lined with 5/8 inch foil-faced insulation and features Intertek-tested cabinet air leakage of 1 percent or less. HVAC technicians specify this coil for new installations and direct replacements in forced-air ducted systems.
This coil is designed for ducted residential split-system air conditioners and heat pumps, including Ducane and Aire-Flo systems. It replaces the older part DE33136C210. The right-hand cased configuration suits standard upflow and horizontal applications. The piston metering device supports easy field changeout, with an externally accessible body that also allows TXV conversion using a factory or field-installed kit. Threaded expansion valve options are available for technicians upgrading metering device type at the time of installation.
Designed as a direct OEM-style replacement for Ducane and Aire-Flo split-system air conditioner and heat pump applications. Replaces older part number DE33136C210. Compatible with R-410A refrigerant systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and manufacturer guidelines. Shut down and lock out the air handler and disconnect electrical power before beginning coil installation or refrigerant line work. Refrigerant connections require brazing; follow proper nitrogen purge procedures to prevent oxidation inside the tubing. Ensure condensate drain lines are properly pitched and trapped per local plumbing code requirements before returning the system to service.
