The ADAMAX INC 221-415/K006-0000 is a 5-wire lever-actuated connector sold in a 10-pack for low-voltage wiring applications. Each connector uses a simple pull-push lever mechanism: lift the lever, seat the conductor, and press the lever back down to terminate. The design accepts solid, stranded, and fine-stranded conductors ranging from 24 to 12 AWG, eliminating the need for special tooling on most terminations. At 1.64 pounds per package, the pack is lightweight enough for field carry. Electricians and low-voltage installers use these connectors to reduce termination time on both device connections and extended cable runs.
These lever connectors are suited for residential and light commercial low-voltage wiring where fast, reliable terminations are required. Typical applications include control wiring, HVAC low-voltage circuits, building automation devices, and other installations where solid, stranded, or fine-stranded conductors must be joined quickly without crimping or twisting. The connectors are particularly useful when terminating devices with higher power consumption levels or when pulling long cable runs that require secure, stable connections at each junction point. A mounting carrier for panel or DIN installation conforms to relevant standards, and custom carrier configurations are available for device manufacturers integrating these connectors into assemblies.
Designed for use with solid, stranded, and fine-stranded conductors from 24 to 12 AWG in low-voltage control and power wiring applications. Compatible with standard mounting carriers; custom carriers are available for OEM device manufacturing integration.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or low-voltage technicians. De-energize all circuits before inserting or removing conductors in accordance with NFPA 70 (NEC) lockout/tagout requirements. Lift the lever fully before inserting the conductor to ensure proper seating, then press the lever completely down to secure the connection. Do not exceed the 12 AWG maximum conductor size, as oversized conductors may prevent full lever closure and result in an unreliable termination.
