The ACT 14-50-6-100 is a standard nylon cable tie designed for permanent bundling and securing of cables, wiring, and other materials in demanding trade environments. Built from Nylon 66, each tie measures 14 inches in length with a width of 0.19 inches and delivers a tensile strength of 50 lbs. The clamping connection type locks firmly in place and will not stretch or slide once cinched. This pack contains 100 ties in blue, making color-coded organization straightforward on larger jobs. Licensed electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and construction professionals rely on this style of tie for fast, reliable bundling without the need for tools.
These cable ties are suited for a broad range of trade applications including electrical conduit and wire management, HVAC refrigerant line bundling, plumbing pipe support, marine wiring, and construction fastening. The 14-inch length accommodates bundles up to 4 inches in maximum diameter, giving technicians flexibility across residential and commercial installations. The blue color aids in quick visual identification of specific circuits or systems on the job site. Multiple sizes and strengths are available within the product line for jobs requiring different load ratings or bundle dimensions.
Designed for general-purpose use in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, marine, and construction applications where a standard 14-inch nylon cable tie with 50 lbs tensile strength is required.
Cable ties are installed by hand or with a tensioning tool; no power shutoff is required for the tie itself, though all electrical conductors being bundled must be de-energized per NEC guidelines before handling. Insert the tail through the locking head and pull to the desired tension, then trim the excess tail flush with a diagonal cutter. Avoid over-tightening on insulated conductors, as excessive compression can damage wire insulation. Once locked, these ties are not reusable and must be cut for removal.
