The ACME UNITED FAO-420 is a 106-piece outdoor first aid kit assembled for field use in hiking, camping, marine, home, and automotive situations. The kit covers wound care, minor pain relief, antiseptic treatment, and basic trauma response in a single portable package. Contents include adhesive and fabric bandages in multiple sizes, gauze dressing pads, a 5 inches x 9 inches trauma pad, a conforming gauze roll, antiseptic towelettes, antibiotic ointment, and a first aid guide. Hard tools included are 4.5-inch nickel-plated scissors, 4-inch plastic tweezers, a finger splint, and exam-quality vinyl gloves. The kit weighs 3 pounds and is sold as an individual unit.
This kit is suited for outdoor recreational use and general preparedness in non-clinical environments. It is stocked on job sites, in fleet vehicles, on boats, and in camp kits. The breadth of bandage types — including knuckle, fingertip, junior, elbow and knee styles — addresses the range of minor injuries common to active outdoor and trade-field settings. Inclusion of moleskin, sunscreen, and lip ointment makes it appropriate for extended outdoor exposure. It is not a substitute for a certified workplace first aid kit under OSHA standards but serves well as a supplemental or personal-use kit.
Designed for general outdoor, home, and automotive first aid applications; not configured for a specific vehicle, vessel, or equipment system.
No installation is required. Store the kit in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight to preserve medication and adhesive integrity. Periodically inspect contents for expired medications, depleted supplies, and damaged packaging. Replace used or expired components before returning the kit to service.
