The ACIQ EAH-15C(UL) is a 15 kW electric heater coil designed for installation inside ACIQ unitary air handlers. It adds straight electric resistance heating capacity to ducted heat pump systems, delivering up to 51,150 BTU/h of supplemental or primary heat. The coil is UL-listed, confirming it meets recognized safety standards for electric heating equipment. Licensed HVAC technicians install this component during new system builds or when upgrading an existing ACIQ air handler to include electric heat.

This heater coil is built for use in residential and light-commercial ducted systems that rely on ACIQ unitary air handlers. Installation Notes

Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local electrical codes and NEC requirements for electric heating equipment. Disconnect and lock out all power to the air handler before inserting or wiring the heater coil. Verify that the electrical service panel circuit feeding the air handler is properly sized for the 15 kW load before energizing the system. Do not operate the heater coil without adequate airflow across the element, as this can cause thermal cutout activation or element damage.
