The ACIQ CVENT-2 is a 2-inch PVC concentric vent kit designed for use with 2-inch intake and vent systems on Category IV furnaces. It combines the combustion air intake and exhaust vent into a single concentric assembly, allowing both pipes to pass through a single penetration in a standard roof or sidewall. This approach eliminates the need for two separate wall or roof penetrations and serves as a direct alternative to the standard two-pipe intake and vent configuration described in basic furnace installation instructions. Licensed HVAC technicians install this kit during new furnace installations or vent system upgrades.
The CVENT-2 is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a single-penetration vent solution is preferred over separate dual-pipe routing. It is appropriate for use wherever the furnace installation instructions permit concentric venting on 2-inch intake and vent piping systems. Installers should note that use of this concentric vent kit reduces the allowable intake and vent piping length by 5 feet compared to the maximum lengths listed in the standard furnace installation instructions. Consult the furnace installation documentation for pipe sizing and length requirements before configuring the vent run.
Designed for use with 2-inch intake and vent systems on Category IV furnaces. This kit is not approved for use with any other furnace category. Refer to the specific furnace installation instructions for pipe sizing and maximum allowable run lengths.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with the furnace manufacturer's installation instructions and applicable local mechanical codes. Shut down the furnace and disconnect power before beginning any vent system work. This concentric vent kit reduces the maximum allowable intake and vent piping length by 5 feet from the values listed in the furnace installation instructions — verify total pipe run length before installation. Do not use this kit on any furnace category other than Category IV.
