The ACIQ ACIQ-30-HPD / ACIQ-36-ACL-B is a 2.5-ton variable-speed central heat pump system paired with a multi-positional cased evaporator coil, designed for residential single-zone heating and cooling applications. The outdoor condenser delivers 30,000 BTU/h of cooling and 34,000 BTU/h of heating at a rated 16.8 SEER2 and 10.0 HSPF2, using R454B refrigerant. A rotary compressor with variable-speed staging allows precise capacity modulation across a wide range of outdoor conditions. Licensed HVAC technicians install and commission this system.
This system is rated for operation in extreme ambient conditions, with a heating range down to -22 degrees F and a cooling range up to 122 degrees F, making it well-suited for cold-climate residential installations where single-stage equipment falls short. The cased coil is multi-positional and designed to pair with the HPD-series condenser in matched configurations. The system carries AHRI certification for the HPD/AHD and HPD/PAH pairings. Single-zone applications only. Electrical requirements are 208/230V, single phase, 60 Hz with a maximum breaker size of 30 amps. This unit replaces the ACIQ-30-HPB.
Designed as a matched-system replacement for the ACIQ-30-HPB outdoor unit. AHRI-certified performance data is available for HPD/AHD and HPD/PAH system pairings. Intended for single-zone residential applications. Verify matched coil and air handler compatibility using the published AHRI certificate and submittal documents before installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer-provided condenser installation manual and quick start guide. Shut off all electrical power at the disconnect and breaker panel before servicing. Liquid line connection is 3/8 inches and suction line is 3/4 inches; verify line set size and length against the extended performance tables for the specific coil pairing. Do not operate the system outside the rated ambient temperature range or attempt field refrigerant charging without proper recovery equipment and EPA 608 certification.
