The ACIQ 80G36H is a trim-to-fit knockdown supply plenum with top, fully assembled at 20 inches wide by 20 inches deep by 36 inches tall. It is designed for use with furnaces, air handlers, and evaporator coils requiring a 21-inch-wide furnace footprint. The knockdown construction collapses flat for transport and storage, reducing job site logistics. Once on site, the plenum is cut to final dimensions using tin snips to match the exact supply opening of the equipment being served. HVAC technicians and sheet metal installers use this plenum when connecting ductwork to the supply side of residential or light-commercial heating and cooling equipment.
This plenum suits residential HVAC installations where the supply air transition between the air handler or furnace and the duct system needs a field-fabricated fit. The trim-to-fit design makes it compatible with a wide range of equipment brands and configurations without requiring a custom-ordered plenum. It ships in knockdown form, which simplifies handling in tight mechanical rooms or when carrying materials to upper floors. The unit includes four trimmable side panels and one trimmable top panel, giving the installer control over final height, width, and depth at the time of installation.
Designed for use with 21-inch-wide furnaces and compatible with multiple brands of air handlers, gas furnaces, and evaporator coil assemblies requiring a trim-to-fit supply plenum transition.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed HVAC technician or sheet metal installer. Shut down and de-energize the furnace or air handler at the disconnect and thermostat before beginning plenum work. Use tin snips to trim panels to the required dimensions before assembly — measure against the actual supply opening to confirm fit prior to cutting. Seal all seams with listed duct sealant or metal-backed tape per local mechanical code requirements.
