The ACIQ es-27z-m4c / aciq-06w-hh-md-2 / aciq-09w-hh-md-2 is a 4-zone wall-mount mini split system rated at 27,000 BTU/h and 25 SEER2. The system pairs a 2.25-ton multi-zone inverter-driven condenser with four wall-mount air handlers in a 6,000 + 6,000 + 9,000 + 9,000 BTU/h configuration. It operates on 230 volts and uses R-454B refrigerant, a lower-GWP alternative to R-410A. The inverter compressor modulates capacity to match load, reducing energy cycling and maintaining steady zone temperatures. Licensed HVAC technicians install and commission this system in residential and light-commercial applications.
This system is suited for residential new construction, retrofit installs, and multi-room additions where running ductwork is impractical. Four independent wall-mount indoor units serve separate zones simultaneously from a single outdoor condenser, reducing the equipment footprint on the exterior of the structure. Typical applications include four-room residential installations, MDUs, or additions requiring zoned comfort without central duct infrastructure. Each indoor unit is factory matched to the condenser for rated efficiency.
This system is a factory-matched 4-zone mini split set including condenser model ES-27Z-M4C and indoor wall-mount handlers ACIQ-06W-HH-MD-2 and ACIQ-09W-HH-MD-2. Components are designed to operate together as a matched set for rated performance.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding an EPA Section 608 certification, as R-454B is a regulated refrigerant requiring certified handling. Shut off all electrical power to the installation area before making line-set or electrical connections. Follow NEC requirements for dedicated circuit sizing and disconnect placement at the outdoor unit. Refer to the manufacturer installation manual for line-set length limits and refrigerant charge adjustment procedures, as inverter systems are sensitive to improper charge levels.
