The ACIQ aciq-18zs-hp230c / aciq-18ws-hp230c is an 18,000 BTU single-zone wall-mounted mini split heat pump system rated at 24 SEER2, designed for residential and light-commercial applications where ducted HVAC is impractical or unavailable. The system operates on 230 volts and uses R454B refrigerant, a lower-GWP alternative to R-410A now required under current EPA regulations. Built-in WiFi allows remote temperature and mode control through a compatible app. The package includes both the indoor air handler and the outdoor condensing unit, providing a complete single-zone solution. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation and commissioning.
This mini split system suits single-zone applications such as individual rooms, additions, garages, server rooms, and small open-plan spaces where independent temperature control is needed. The wall-mounted indoor unit delivers conditioned air without ductwork, making it appropriate for retrofit installations in existing structures. The system handles both cooling and heating in heat pump mode, supporting year-round comfort from a single system.
Designed as a matched single-zone mini split system pairing the aciq-18zs-hp230c indoor wall-mount air handler with the aciq-18ws-hp230c outdoor condensing unit. Components are factory-matched and intended to be installed together as a complete system.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding an EPA 608 certification, as the system contains regulated refrigerant. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before any service work on the indoor or outdoor unit. Line set sizing, electrical supply wiring, and disconnect requirements must conform to NEC guidelines and local jurisdiction codes. Do not mix refrigerants or attempt to field-charge with any refrigerant other than R454B as specified for this system.
