The ACI CO-R-RB-D is a room-mount carbon monoxide sensor designed for continuous CO monitoring in occupied and industrial spaces. It outputs a 4-20mA current signal and a 2-10VDC voltage signal simultaneously, giving building automation and control systems direct analog readings without additional signal conversion. The default measurement range is 0-125 PPM, with a maximum ceiling of 250 PPM, and the onboard LCD displays live CO concentration for field verification. An integrated relay and audible buzzer provide local alarm output when CO levels exceed set thresholds. Licensed HVAC technicians, building automation contractors, and industrial safety professionals are the primary installers.
This sensor is suited for room-level CO detection across a wide range of applications including industrial facilities, oil and gas environments, laboratories, agricultural buildings, transportation hubs, and mining operations. The room-mount form factor positions the sensor at occupant-breathing height for accurate zone-level readings. The dual analog outputs make it compatible with most DDC controllers and building management systems that accept standard 4-20mA or 2-10VDC inputs, allowing integration into existing control sequences for ventilation response or alarm annunciation.
Designed for use with building automation systems and DDC controllers that accept standard 4-20mA current or 2-10VDC voltage analog inputs. Suitable for industrial, oil and gas, laboratory, agricultural, transportation, and mining applications as noted by the manufacturer.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or qualified building automation contractor familiar with low-voltage wiring and local codes. De-energize the control panel and verify zero voltage at the terminal block before wiring the sensor outputs. Follow the sensor mounting height recommendations for the target application to ensure accurate zone-level readings. Verify output signal type selection and scaling at the controller before commissioning.
