The ACI 107673 is a partially insulated crimp wire ferrule designed to terminate stranded copper conductors at control panels, terminal blocks, and equipment enclosures. Rated for 8 AWG (10 sq mm) wire, this ferrule features a 12mm pin length and a 4.9mm pin diameter, with a 21.5mm overall length. The white partial insulation collar provides a secure grip point during insertion and helps prevent conductor splaying at the ferrule mouth. Electricians and control panel builders use these ferrules to create clean, reliable terminations in DIN rail-mounted terminal blocks and other screw-clamp or push-in connectors.
This ferrule suits residential and commercial electrical control wiring applications where stranded wire must be terminated cleanly at a terminal block, breaker lug, or similar connection point. Typical installations include motor control centers, automation panels, HVAC control wiring, and distribution boards. The crimp connection method ensures consistent electrical contact and mechanical retention when applied with the correct ratcheting ferrule crimping tool. These ferrules are sold individually but carry a minimum order quantity of 100 units, making them appropriate for panel shop or field stocking use.

Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for the application. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use a ratcheting ferrule crimping tool sized for 8 AWG ferrules to achieve a full, consistent crimp — do not use pliers or non-ratcheting tools, as incomplete crimps can cause high-resistance connections or conductor pull-out. Verify the crimped ferrule seats fully into the terminal block before torquing any clamping screws.
