The ACI 107672 is a partially insulated crimp wire ferrule designed for terminating stranded copper conductors in control panels, industrial enclosures, and electrical distribution equipment. Compatible with 8 AWG (10 sq mm) wire, this ferrule features an 18mm pin length and a 4.9mm pin diameter, with an overall length of 27.5mm. The white insulation collar provides a secure grip on the wire jacket and helps technicians identify conductor size at a glance. Installation is performed by licensed electricians and panel builders using a calibrated ferrule crimping tool, making this a standard component in professional wiring harness assemblies and terminal block connections.
This ferrule is suited for residential, commercial, and industrial electrical applications where stranded wire must be terminated cleanly into screw-type or cage-clamp terminal blocks. The crimp connection style prevents individual wire strands from splaying, reducing the risk of intermittent contact or terminal damage over time. It is commonly installed in motor control centers, VFD panels, PLC enclosures, and HVAC control wiring. Note that this SKU ships as a single unit with a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces per order.
Designed as an OEM-style crimp ferrule for use with 8 AWG (10 sq mm) stranded copper conductors terminated into screw-type or cage-clamp terminal blocks in electrical panels and enclosures.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use a calibrated ferrule crimping tool matched to the 8 AWG ferrule die size to achieve a proper gas-tight crimp. Do not use pliers or non-rated tools, as an improper crimp can cause high-resistance connections or conductor pull-out.
