The ACI 107670 is a partially insulated crimp wire ferrule designed to terminate stranded copper conductors in control panels, terminal blocks, and industrial wiring applications. Compatible with 10 AWG (6 sq mm) wire, the ferrule features a 12mm exposed pin length and a 20mm overall length with a 3.9mm pin diameter. The black partial insulation collar provides a visual gauge stop and protects the insulation-to-conductor transition zone without covering the full pin. Electricians and panel builders use these ferrules to create clean, vibration-resistant terminations at screw-type and cage-clamp terminals.
These ferrules are suited for residential and commercial control wiring, automation panels, motor control centers, and anywhere stranded wire requires a solid-pin termination. The 10 AWG rating makes them appropriate for branch circuit control conductors, VFD wiring, and power distribution terminals that accept pin-type inserts. They are typically installed in high-density terminal strip layouts where a secure, rattle-free connection is required.
Designed as an OEM-style termination ferrule for use with 10 AWG stranded wire at screw-clamp and cage-clamp terminal blocks in control panel and industrial wiring applications.
Wire ferrules are installed by licensed electricians or qualified panel builders in accordance with NEC guidelines for conductor terminations. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Strip the wire to the correct length to seat flush inside the ferrule collar, then crimp using a ratcheting ferrule crimp tool sized for the appropriate pin diameter. Do not use pliers or non-ratcheting tools, as inconsistent crimp force can result in a loose or damaged termination.
