The ACI 107668 is a partially insulated crimp wire ferrule designed to terminate 12 AWG (4 sq mm) stranded conductors. The ferrule features a 10mm pin length with a 3.2mm pin diameter and an overall length of 17.5mm. It is used to protect conductor strands at termination points, preventing fraying and ensuring a solid, consistent connection at terminal blocks, control panels, and DIN-rail mounted devices. Gray insulation color identifies the 12 AWG size at a glance. This type of ferrule is installed by electricians and control panel technicians as part of standard wiring practice in commercial and industrial enclosures.
This ferrule is suited for use in low-voltage control wiring, building automation panels, HVAC control boards, and industrial terminal block installations where 12 AWG stranded wire is being landed. The partial insulation collar provides a grip point and strain relief at the wire entry while leaving the pin exposed for full insertion into terminal blocks. Minimum order quantity is 100 pieces per order.
Designed for use with 12 AWG (4 sq mm) stranded wire at terminal blocks and control panel terminations requiring a partially insulated crimp ferrule.
Installation requires a ratcheting ferrule crimping tool sized for 12 AWG ferrules. Strip the conductor to the correct length before seating it fully into the ferrule collar before crimping. De-energize all circuits before working inside any panel or enclosure. Follow applicable NEC requirements for control wiring and termination practices.
