The ACCUPRO T2670482B is a spiral point tap designed to cut 3/8-16 unified coarse internal threads in through-hole applications. Built from 3% vanadium high speed steel with a bright finish, it delivers good wear resistance and edge retention without a coating. The plug chamfer distributes cutting load across the leading threads for consistent thread form entry. With 3 flutes and a right-hand cutting direction, chips are pushed ahead of the tap into the hole rather than packing behind the cutting edges.
