The ACCUPRO T2667374 is a spiral flute tap designed to cut M8x1.00 metric threads in blind and through holes. Built from 3 percent vanadium high-speed steel, the tap delivers increased wear resistance and edge retention compared to standard HSS taps. The modified bottoming chamfer allows threading closer to the bottom of a blind hole, making it well suited for tight-tolerance machining work. Three right-hand spiral flutes evacuate chips upward out of the hole during the cutting operation. The D4 thread limit keeps ground threads within a controlled tolerance band for consistent fit.
