The ACCUPRO T1634545 is a spiral flute tap designed to cut 7/16-20 unified fine threads in through-hole and modified bottoming applications. Built from vanadium high speed steel with an oxide finish, it delivers consistent thread quality in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 3-flute, right-hand spiral design with a 33-degree helix angle evacuates chips upward out of the hole, reducing the risk of chip packing in blind bores. Machined to a 2B class of fit and an H5 thread limit, it produces threads that meet standard tolerance requirements for general fastener assembly. This tap is installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on manual and CNC machine tools.
