The ACCUPRO SAMG-808-DP-PL is a solid carbide drill mill designed for combined drilling and end milling operations in a single tool. Built from micrograin carbide, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for precision work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 90-degree point angle makes it well-suited for spot drilling, countersinking, and chamfering alongside its standard milling function. With a 1/4 inch cutting diameter and 3/4 inch length of cut, it handles detail work in tight geometries. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users of this style of cutter.
This drill mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines for applications requiring multiple operations without a tool change. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional milling setups. Its uncoated finish makes it a good baseline choice for shops running aluminum, brass, plastics, and softer steels where coating may not be required. The 1/4 inch shank fits standard ER collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found in production and job-shop environments.
Designed as a drop-in replacement for standard 1/4 inch shank drill mills in ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and similar toolholding systems used in CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists following standard tool-change procedures. Power down and lock out the spindle before seating or removing the cutter. Ensure the shank is fully engaged in the collet or holder and that runout is within acceptable tolerance before cutting. Do not exceed the rated depth of cut for the length of cut specification.
