The ACCUPRO ER11HP 02.38 is a precision ER11 series collet designed for use in CNC machining centers, high-speed spindles, and tool-holding systems that accept the ER11 collet standard. With a clamping diameter of 3/32 inch and a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0002 inch (0.0050 mm), this collet delivers the tight concentricity tolerances required for accurate drilling, milling, reaming, and engraving operations. It is installed by machinists and CNC technicians in precision machining environments where tool runout directly affects finish quality and tool life.
This collet is suited for light-duty high-speed spindle applications common in CNC routing, engraving, and small-diameter milling setups. The ER11 collet series is one of the most widely used standards in compact spindle systems. It accepts a 3/32 inch shank tool and is appropriate for production shops, tool-and-die operations, and maintenance machining where precise, repeatable tool holding is required.
Designed for use in any spindle, collet chuck, or tool holder that accepts the ER11 collet standard with a 3/32 inch tool shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC technician with the spindle powered down and locked out per facility lockout/tagout procedures. Insert the collet into the ER11 collet nut before threading onto the spindle nose — do not press the collet directly into the chuck without the nut engaged. Use a calibrated torque wrench and the appropriate ER11 spanner wrench for final tightening. Inspect the collet bore and mating surfaces for chips or contamination before each use to maintain rated TIR performance.
