The ACCUPRO EM99943869 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for chamfering, deburring, and edge-breaking operations on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. It features a 1/4 inch cutter head diameter, three flutes, and a right-hand cutting direction. The AlTiN coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in demanding cutting environments. With an overall length of 2.5 inches and a 1/4 inch shank diameter, this tool fits standard end mill holders and collet chucks used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Machinists and toolroom operators working with steel, stainless, and hardened materials will find this tool well suited to high-speed finishing passes.
This chamfer mill is used in machine shops, production facilities, and toolrooms where consistent chamfer geometry and clean edge preparation are required. The single-end design and 0.0950 inch length of cut make it appropriate for light chamfering and spot-facing applications on close-tolerance parts. It is a practical choice for CNC operators running tight-tolerance programs where repeatable chamfer angles are critical. Coolant-through capability is not included, so external flood or mist coolant should be used when cutting heat-sensitive materials.
Designed as a standard 1/4 inch shank chamfer mill compatible with CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual milling machines equipped with ER collet chucks or end mill holders accepting a 1/4 inch shank diameter.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC toolroom personnel. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or unloading the tool. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder and torque the retention nut to the tool holder specification before running. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing production cuts to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
