The ACCUPRO EM99943859 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for precise chamfering, deburring, and edge-breaking operations on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. With a 1/8 inch cutter head diameter and a 2-flute, right-hand cutting geometry, this tool delivers clean, accurate chamfered edges in a compact form factor. The AlTiN coating provides elevated heat resistance and surface hardness, extending tool life in demanding cutting conditions. At 3 inches overall length with a 1/8 inch shank diameter, it fits standard toolholders used in CNC machining centers and manual milling operations. Machinists and toolroom operators working with tight tolerances will find this tool well suited to finish and prep work.
This chamfer mill is intended for use in machine shop environments handling detail work on metals and engineered materials. The single-end configuration and 0.784 inch length of cut make it a practical choice for chamfering holes, countersinking edge breaks, and cleaning up part geometry before inspection or assembly. It is commonly installed in CNC vertical machining centers, knee mills, and similar equipment where a small-diameter chamfer tool is required. No coolant-through capability is present, so external coolant or air blast is the appropriate cooling method.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement chamfer mill for use in standard CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter toolholder or collet.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully and evenly in the collet or toolholder and torque to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or coating damage before use, and confirm runout with a dial indicator where tolerances are critical.
