The ACCUPRO EM99943855 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for producing chamfers, bevels, and edge breaks on metal workpieces. It features a 0.25-inch cutter head diameter, 2 flutes, and a right-hand cutting direction. The tool is coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), which improves heat resistance and tool life in ferrous and hard materials. With an overall length of 2.5 inches and a 0.25-inch shank diameter, it fits standard collet and end mill holders. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this mill on CNC machining centers and manual mills for precise chamfer operations.
This chamfer mill is suited for single-end chamfering operations in job shop, production, and toolroom environments. It performs well on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar ferrous materials where AlTiN coating provides thermal protection. The 2-flute geometry balances chip evacuation with edge strength, making it appropriate for both light finishing passes and moderate stock removal on chamfer features. Coolant-through capability is not available on this tool, so external coolant or dry cutting strategies apply.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement chamfer mill fitting standard 0.25-inch collets and end mill holders used on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated in the collet or holder and tighten to the tool holder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts to prevent premature tool wear or chipping.
