The ACCUPRO EJ02300000MSC is a taper drill chuck arbor designed to connect a Jacobs Taper 3 (JT3) drill chuck to a machine spindle with a No. 2 Morse Taper (2MT) shank. The arbor serves as the mechanical interface between the chuck and the spindle, transmitting torque and maintaining concentricity during drilling operations. With an overall length of approximately 4.45 inches (113 mm) and a weight of 0.44 pounds, this arbor is a compact, solid component suited for use on drill presses, milling machines, and lathes equipped with a 2MT spindle. Installation is performed by machinists and toolroom technicians.
This arbor is commonly used in machine shop and manufacturing environments where a JT3 chuck must be seated onto a 2MT spindle. Typical applications include benchtop and floor-standing drill presses, knee mills, and manual lathes configured for drilling operations. The Morse taper shank seats directly into the spindle socket and is released with a drift key. The JT3 mount accepts standard Jacobs-pattern chucks with a JT3 taper bore.
Designed as an OEM-style arbor for use with JT3 drill chucks on machine spindles equipped with a No. 2 Morse Taper socket.
Installation and removal should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and de-energize the machine spindle completely before mounting or removing the arbor. The Morse taper shank is seated by firm hand pressure or light mallet tap into a clean, dry spindle socket. Remove the arbor using an appropriate drift key inserted through the spindle drift slot — never use impact force directly on the chuck or arbor body.
