The ACCUPRO E599943872 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for precision chamfering, deburring, and edge-breaking operations on metallic and non-metallic workpieces. The cutter head measures 0.5 inches in diameter with a 4-flute configuration and a single-end geometry that concentrates cutting performance at one end. The right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional milling setups. An uncoated bright finish makes this tool well-suited for applications where coating interaction with the workpiece is a concern. With an overall length of 3 inches and a 0.0580-inch length of cut, this mill is built for controlled, repeatable chamfer profiles in production and job-shop environments.
This chamfer mill is appropriate for machinists and tooling technicians working on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. It is commonly used in metalworking shops for deburring drilled holes, creating lead-in chamfers on threaded features, and breaking sharp edges on machined components. The 1/2-inch shank diameter fits standard ER and end mill collet systems found on most vertical machining centers. Coolant-through capability is not supported, so flood or mist coolant applied externally is the appropriate method for heat management during cutting.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct tooling option for milling machines and CNC machining centers accepting 1/2-inch shank end mills with standard ER or end mill collet toolholders.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Power down and lock out the spindle before seating or removing the tool from the collet or toolholder. Ensure the shank is clean and fully seated to the recommended engagement depth before tightening the collet nut to the manufacturer specification for the collet system in use. Verify spindle rotation direction matches the right-hand cutting geometry before initiating a cut.
