The ACCUPRO E599943840 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for deburring, chamfering, and edge-breaking operations on metal and composite workpieces. Built from solid carbide throughout, this single-end mill delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for consistent edge geometry in production and job-shop environments. The cutter head measures 0.375 inches in diameter with a 0.588-inch length of cut, and the tool runs 3 flutes in a right-hand cutting direction. At 2.5 inches overall length, it fits standard end-mill holders and collet chucks. Machinists and tool-and-die technicians specify this style of mill for finish chamfering on CNC machining centers and manual mills alike.
This chamfer mill is suited to light-to-medium chamfering passes on ferrous and non-ferrous materials where an uncoated carbide edge is preferred. The bright, uncoated finish makes it a straightforward choice for applications where coating interaction with workpiece material is a concern or where regrinding after use is anticipated. The 3/8-inch shank diameter allows direct fitment in standard ER collets, end-mill holders, and shrink-fit tooling of the matching bore size. No coolant-through capability means it is intended for flood, mist, or dry cutting at the spindle exterior only.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide chamfer mill compatible with standard 3/8-inch bore ER collets, end-mill holders, and shrink-fit tooling used on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an energy-isolated state before loading or changing tooling. Seat the 3/8-inch shank fully into the holder and torque the retention fastener to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing the cut, as excessive runout accelerates carbide edge wear and degrades chamfer quality.
