The ACCUPRO CKS2016020MSC is a keyless drill chuck designed for industrial and trade drilling applications. It accepts round-shank drill bits and tooling from 0.1875 inches (13/64 inch) up to 0.750 inches (3/4 inch) in diameter, making it suitable for a wide range of hole-making tasks. The chuck mounts via a JT3 tapered arbor interface and features a ball bearing design for smooth, consistent tightening without a key. The sleeve diameter measures 64 millimeters. Machinists, millwrights, and maintenance technicians working with drill presses, lathes, or milling machines are the primary installers of this chuck.
The CKS2016020MSC is suited for use in machine shop, industrial maintenance, and heavy-duty field drilling environments. Its JT3 taper mount is a standard spindle interface found on many mid-size drill presses and machine tool spindles. The keyless design allows the operator to tighten and release tooling by hand, improving workflow speed when changing bits frequently. The steel chuck body is built for repeated use under the demands of production or maintenance environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or upgrade chuck for machine tool spindles using a JT3 tapered arbor mount. Verify spindle taper designation before installation.
A licensed machinist or qualified maintenance technician should install this chuck. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and locked out before removing or seating the chuck on the JT3 taper. Clean the taper surfaces of both the chuck and spindle before installation to ensure full seating contact. Do not use impact force methods that could damage the taper or bearing assembly.
