Manufactured from submicron-grade carbide with an AlTiN finish coating, it delivers consistent cutting performance and wear resistance in demanding machining environments. The bar features a right-hand cutting direction, a minimum bore diameter of 0.23 inches, and a maximum bore depth of 1.1 inches. With a 5/16-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 2.5 inches, it fits standard tooling setups used by machinists in production and job shop environments.
This boring bar is suited for tight-tolerance internal diameter work in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Secure the shank firmly in the tool holder to the holder manufacturer's recommended clamping method to prevent chatter and tool pull-out. Verify bore diameter and depth settings with appropriate gauging before beginning production cuts.
