The ACCUPRO B200700R is a corner radius boring bar designed for precision internal turning and boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Machined from submicron-grade solid carbide, this bar delivers consistent edge integrity and wear resistance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It accepts a minimum bore diameter of 0.2 inches and reaches a maximum bore depth of 0.7 inches. The bright finish coating reduces friction and helps evacuate chips cleanly. With a 0.25-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 2.5 inches, the B200700R fits standard boring bar holders used in production and tool room environments. Machinists and CNC operators install this tool when a controlled corner radius is required at the base of a bored feature.
This boring bar is suited for light to moderate internal boring passes where a corner radius between 0.005 inches and 0.008 inches must be held consistently. Typical applications include finish-boring of bearing seats, counterbores, and precision housings in job shop and production settings. The right-hand cutting direction makes it compatible with standard spindle rotation on conventional lathes and CNC turning centers. It is sold as a single unit and is sized for use in small-bore work where rigidity and compact geometry matter.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or production tooling solution for standard 0.25-inch boring bar holders used in CNC turning centers and manual lathes performing small-bore internal operations.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Power down the machine and confirm the spindle is fully stopped before changing tooling. Secure the shank firmly in the boring bar holder to the appropriate clamping torque specified by the toolholder manufacturer. Verify tool overhang is minimized to reduce deflection, and confirm cutting direction and spindle rotation match before initiating a cut.
