Built from submicron-grade solid carbide and finished with an AlTiN coating, this bar handles tight-tolerance bores in hardened materials, stainless steels, and heat-resistant alloys. It delivers a minimum bore diameter of 0.06 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.4 inches. The right-hand cutting direction suits standard spindle configurations. With a 0.125-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 1.5 inches, this is a compact tool for fine internal work where rigidity and dimensional accuracy are critical. Machinists and tooling specialists rely on this class of bar for finishing passes in small-diameter bores.
This boring bar is suited to light-duty precision boring in production and job-shop environments.
