The ACCUPRO ACC -T360750 is a solid carbide single point threading tool designed for internal thread cutting on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. With a minimum threading diameter of 0.36 inches and a cutting depth of 0.75 inches, this tool handles a wide TPI range from 8 to 32 in a single setup. The 60-degree profile angle covers standard unified and metric thread forms. The bright, uncoated solid carbide construction provides the rigidity and wear resistance needed for consistent thread quality in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Machinists and tool and die professionals install this type of tooling in production and job-shop environments where thread accuracy and repeatability are required.
This threading tool is suited for internal threading operations in bore diameters at or above 0.36 inches. The 3/8-inch shank diameter fits standard boring bar holders and quick-change tooling systems common on CNC and manual lathes. The 0.08-inch projection from the edge provides adequate clearance for threading passes while maintaining insert stability. It is appropriate for threading operations in steel, aluminum, brass, and similar machinable materials across both production and low-volume applications.
Designed as an OEM-style single point threading tool for use in standard 3/8-inch internal threading toolholders on CNC and manual lathes capable of synchronized spindle and carriage movement.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists familiar with lathe threading cycles and toolholder setup. Secure the shank in the toolholder to the recommended clamping torque specified by the toolholder manufacturer before running any threading passes. Ensure the lathe spindle encoder and threading cycle are properly synchronized before engaging the cut. Inspect the tool edge for chipping or wear before each use, as carbide single point tools are susceptible to edge damage from interrupted cuts or improper feeds.
