The ACCUPRO ACC-RC375100 is a right-hand, single point cut-off and grooving tool bit designed for metal cutting operations on lathes and turning centers. It features a solid carbide tip brazed to a steel shank, delivering the hardness and edge retention needed for demanding cut-off and grooving work. The shank measures 3/8 inch wide by 3/8 inch high, with a 6-inch overall length. The tip is 0.100 inch wide and 0.100 inch thick, suited for precise narrow-groove and parting operations. Machinists and toolroom professionals install this bit in standard tool post holders and boring bars sized for 3/8-inch shank stock.
This tool bit is intended for use in manual and CNC lathes performing cut-off and grooving operations on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The RC style geometry is matched to parting and grooving applications where a consistent, narrow chip channel is required. It fits standard 3/8-inch shank tool holders commonly found in job shops, maintenance shops, and production turning cells. The right-hand cutting direction is the standard orientation for conventional lathe setups.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for Industry Standard Number RC-375100. Compatible with tool holders and tool posts accepting a 3/8 inch by 3/8 inch shank profile.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Power down and lock out the lathe before seating or adjusting the tool bit in the holder. Ensure the tool bit is clamped securely and set on center height before engaging the workpiece. Verify tip clearance angles are correct for the material being parted or grooved before beginning a cut.
