The ACCUPRO ACC-HB2101000 is a helical boring bar manufactured from submicron-grade solid carbide with a bright finish coating. It is designed for internal boring operations on machining centers and CNC lathes, delivering tight-tolerance hole finishing in small-diameter applications. The bar accepts a minimum bore diameter of 0.21 inches and reaches a maximum bore depth of 1 inch, making it well suited for precision work in compact through-holes and shallow blind bores. With a 0.25-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 2.5 inches, this tool is sized for use in standard small-bore toolholding systems. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this bar when surface finish and dimensional accuracy in sub-quarter-inch bores are the primary requirements.
The ACC-HB2101000 is used in production and job-shop environments where small-diameter internal features require consistent, repeatable cutting performance. Typical applications include finishing operations on hydraulic valve bodies, pneumatic components, precision housings, and similar workpieces machined on CNC turning centers or machining centers. The right-hand cut direction is standard for conventional spindle rotation in most CNC setups. This bar is a single-piece solid carbide construction with no inserts to index or replace, making it appropriate for high-accuracy finishing passes at controlled depths of cut.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard cutting tool for CNC lathes and machining centers equipped with 0.25-inch shank toolholding systems capable of internal boring operations.
This boring bar is installed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians familiar with CNC turning and milling operations. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is placed in an appropriate safe state before changing or setting tooling. Secure the 0.25-inch shank in a compatible toolholder to the holder manufacturer's specified clamping method, and verify runout before beginning a cut. Do not exceed the 1-inch maximum bore depth rating, as overextension can cause tool deflection and compromise bore geometry.
