It features a right-hand cutting direction and a bright finish coating with no additional surface treatment that would alter the dimensional tolerances critical at this scale. The minimum bore diameter is 0.035 inches, the maximum bore depth is 0.125 inches, the shank diameter is 0.125 inches, and the overall length is 1.5 inches. This bar is designed for machinists and tooling technicians working on precision components where tight bore tolerances and a rigid, vibration-resistant tool body are required.
The ACC-HB035125 is suited for small-bore applications in CNC machining centers, manual lathes, and mill-turn equipment. Its compact geometry makes it appropriate for tight clearance bores in medical components, instrument housings, watch parts, hydraulic valve bodies, and similar precision work. Install and remove this boring bar with the machine spindle fully stopped and locked out per your shop lockout/tagout procedure. Ensure the shank is fully seated and clamped in the tool holder to the holder manufacturer's specification before starting the spindle. At this diameter, even minor runout or insufficient clamping force will degrade bore quality and can fracture the carbide shank. Consult the tool holder manufacturer's documentation for appropriate clamping torque and projection length guidelines.
