The tool features a 3/8 inch shank diameter and cuts a groove width of 0.0700 inches. With an overall length of 2.5 inches and a projection of 0.1100 inches, it is suited for precise, repeatable groove profiles in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This grooving tool is used in turning and boring center applications where a full radius groove profile is required.
