The 1/4 inch shank diameter pairs with a 0.0175 inch groove width and a 0.0600 inch projection, making it suited for precision work in tight bore envelopes. The submicron carbide grade provides wear resistance and edge stability at higher cutting speeds.
This grooving tool is used in machining operations requiring full radius internal grooves in workpieces with a minimum hole diameter of 0.2500 inches and a maximum hole depth of 0.2500 inches.
