The ACCUPRO ACC-G055-16 is a solid carbide internal grooving tool designed for cutting retaining ring grooves in bored holes. Built from submicron-grade carbide, it delivers consistent performance in precision machining applications where groove geometry and tool life are critical. The tool features a 3/8-inch shank diameter and cuts a groove width of 0.0560 inches. With an overall length of 2.5 inches and a shank length of 1.2 inches, it is sized for use in CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Machinists and toolroom technicians use this style of grooving tool when internal retaining ring grooves must be held to close tolerances.
This grooving tool is suited for internal retaining ring groove operations in small-bore workpieces.
