The ACCUPRO ACC-BBL3603000 is a left-hand cut solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Manufactured from submicron-grade solid carbide with a bright finish coating, this bar delivers tight dimensional accuracy and excellent surface finish in a wide range of workpiece materials. It accepts a 3/8-inch shank diameter and reaches a maximum bore depth of 3 inches, with a minimum bore diameter of 0.36 inches. Overall length is 4 inches. Machinists and toolroom professionals use this bar where right-hand tooling is not suited to the setup orientation.
This boring bar is suited for small-diameter internal turning applications in production and job-shop environments. The left-hand cutting direction makes it appropriate for back-boring operations or setups where the spindle rotation and tool approach require a left-hand orientation. The submicron carbide grade provides wear resistance in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials, supporting consistent tool life across repeated passes at moderate to high cutting speeds.
Designed for use in standard 3/8-inch boring bar tool holders on CNC and manual turning centers where left-hand internal boring tooling is required.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before securing or removing tooling. Ensure the shank is fully seated and clamped to the minimum insertion depth specified by the tool holder manufacturer to prevent deflection. Verify cutting direction and spindle rotation match before initiating a cut.
