The ACCUPRO ACC-BBL320500 is a solid carbide boring bar designed for internal bore finishing and sizing operations on CNC and manual turning centers. Built from submicron-grade carbide with a bright finish coating, it delivers consistent dimensional accuracy in tight-tolerance bores. The bar features a left-hand cutting direction, a 0.32 inch minimum bore diameter, and a 0.50 inch maximum bore depth, making it well suited for small-diameter, shallow bore work. With a 3/8 inch shank diameter and a 2.5 inch overall length, it fits standard boring bar holders used in production and job-shop environments. Machinists and CNC operators install this bar when tight bore tolerances and hard materials demand carbide rigidity over high-speed steel alternatives.
This boring bar is intended for left-hand internal turning and boring applications on metals and alloys where submicron carbide grade is required for edge retention and surface finish quality. It fits small-bore applications in precision machining environments, including aerospace, hydraulic component, and general metalworking production runs. A qualified machinist or CNC operator should install this boring bar in accordance with the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for tooling overhang and runout tolerance. Power down and lock out the spindle before securing or removing tooling from the holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated and properly torqued per the toolholder specification before cutting. Do not exceed the maximum bore depth rating of 0.50 inch to avoid tool deflection or breakage.
