The ACCUPRO ACC-BBL110700 is a left-hand cut boring bar machined from submicron-grade solid carbide. It is engineered for internal boring operations on CNC lathes, screw machines, and manual turning centers. The bar features a bright finish coating and handles a minimum bore diameter of 0.11 inches with a maximum bore depth of 0.7 inches. The 0.125-inch shank diameter and 1.5-inch overall length make it suited for small-bore, close-tolerance work in production or toolroom environments. Machinists and CNC operators use this bar when precision internal diameters are required on small workpieces in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
This boring bar is intended for use in metalworking applications where small internal bore diameters and tight tolerances are required. Its left-hand cutting direction suits specific lathe orientations and back-boring setups. The submicron carbide grade delivers edge retention and surface finish quality appropriate for finishing passes. Typical users include CNC machinists, toolroom operators, and production machinists working with small-diameter bores in steel, aluminum, brass, and similar materials.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct toolroom addition for lathes and turning centers accepting a 0.125-inch round shank boring bar in left-hand orientation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank firmly in a compatible toolholder and verify overhang does not exceed recommended depth-to-diameter ratios to prevent deflection. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or removing the bar. Confirm correct left-hand orientation before engaging the spindle.
