The ACCUPRO ACC-BB320900G is a micrograin solid carbide boring bar designed for precise internal diameter machining on lathes and boring mills. With a minimum bore diameter of 0.32 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.9 inches, this right-hand-cut tool handles tight-tolerance finish boring in small-diameter applications. The TiN (titanium nitride) finish coating improves surface hardness and wear resistance, extending tool life in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 3/8-inch shank diameter and 2.5-inch overall length make it compatible with standard toolpost and turret setups found in most production and job-shop turning operations.
This boring bar is suited for CNC and manual turning centers where small-bore internal finishing is required. Typical applications include bearing seat preparation, hydraulic component bores, and precision sleeve fitting. The right-hand cutting direction follows standard lathe rotation conventions. Machinists and toolroom operators working on close-tolerance bores in aluminum, steel, stainless, and similar materials will find this bar appropriate for light-to-moderate material removal and finish passes.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct tooling addition for lathes and boring mills accepting a 3/8-inch round shank boring bar.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Power down and lock out the machine before seating or removing the boring bar from the holder. Ensure the shank is clamped to the manufacturer-specified engagement depth in the toolholder and that the cutting edge is set on center with the workpiece spindle axis. Follow shop safety practices and applicable OSHA machine guarding requirements when setting up tooling.
