The ACCUPRO ACC-BB320750A is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal diameter machining on lathes and turning centers. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with TiAlN, this bar delivers consistent tool life and dimensional accuracy in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It accommodates a minimum bore diameter of 0.32 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.75 inches, making it well suited for small-bore finishing and semi-finishing operations. With a 3/8-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 2.5 inches, this bar fits standard boring bar holders and quick-change tool posts. Machinists and toolroom technicians specify this type of bar when tight bore tolerances and repeatable surface finish are required.
This boring bar is intended for use in CNC turning centers, manual lathes, and gang-tool configurations where small internal bores must be held to close tolerances. The right-hand cutting direction suits standard spindle rotation in conventional turning setups. The compact overall length and 3/8-inch shank make this bar appropriate for light to medium duty boring passes in both production and job-shop environments. It is commonly selected for operations on aluminum, steel, and cast iron workpieces where a TiAlN coating provides thermal resistance and extended edge life.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement-style boring bar for standard 3/8-inch boring bar holders used in CNC turning centers and manual lathes requiring a right-hand, solid carbide internal turning tool.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or removing tooling from the turret or tool post. Ensure the shank is fully seated and clamped to the specified holder torque per the machine or holder manufacturer guidelines before taking any cutting passes. Avoid overhang beyond the minimum necessary for bore depth, as excessive extension reduces rigidity and increases the risk of chatter and tool deflection.
