The ACCUPRO ACC-BB230600G is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal diameter machining on mills and lathes. Constructed from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention required for tight-tolerance bore work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The bar cuts in a right-hand direction and accepts a standard 5/16-inch shank mount. With a minimum bore diameter of 0.23 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.60 inches, this tool is suited for small, deep-reach bore applications where dimensional accuracy is critical. Overall length is 2.5 inches. The bar weighs 0.125 pounds.
This boring bar is used in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and lathes where small-diameter internal bores must be held to close tolerances. It is a standard choice for tool and die work, prototype machining, and precision part production. Machinists working on hydraulic valve bodies, small bores in aluminum castings, or steel components will find this bar appropriate for finishing and semi-finishing passes. Right-hand cutting orientation is the conventional setup for standard spindle-forward boring operations.

Installation is performed by qualified machinists familiar with boring bar setup procedures. The shank must be properly clamped and torqued in the tool holder per the holder manufacturer specifications before use. Avoid side-loading the bar beyond its rated bore depth to prevent deflection or tool breakage.
