The ACCUPRO ACC-BB180900G is a micrograin solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. It accepts a minimum bore diameter of 0.18 inches and reaches a maximum bore depth of 0.9 inches, making it well suited for small-diameter, close-tolerance work. The 1/4-inch shank diameter and 2.5-inch overall length keep the tool compact and rigid. A titanium nitride (TiN) finish coating reduces friction and extends cutting edge life. Right-hand cut orientation is standard. Machinists and toolroom operators working with tight bore tolerances will find this bar appropriate for both production and prototype applications.
This boring bar is intended for use in small-bore finishing and semi-finishing operations where dimensional accuracy is critical. Typical applications include bearing bores, bushing seats, and precision holes in ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for interrupted cuts and abrasive materials. Inspect the cutting edge and TiN coating for chips or wear before each use.
