The ACCUPRO ACC-BB160600G is a micrograin solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. It cuts right-hand with a minimum bore diameter of 0.16 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.6 inches. The 3/16-inch shank diameter and 2-inch overall length make it well suited for small-bore finish and semi-finish work where rigidity and dimensional accuracy are critical. A titanium nitride (TiN) coating reduces friction and extends tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous applications. Installation Notes

This bar is installed by a machinist or toolroom technician into a compatible boring bar holder or quick-change toolpost. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or adjusting the bar in the holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated and clamped to the holder manufacturer's specified engagement length to minimize overhang-induced vibration. Do not exceed the maximum bore depth of 0.6 inches, as extended overhang beyond the designed depth can cause chatter and tool deflection.
