The ACCUPRO A-6200215R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in small-diameter applications. It measures 2.15 mm (0.0846 inches) in cutting diameter with a 3.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank and a 50 mm overall length. The 140-degree point angle promotes accurate entry and reduces walking on hard or dense materials. The bright, uncoated finish is suitable for dry cutting or use with standard cutting fluids. Machinists, toolroom technicians, and precision fabricators rely on this bit for tight-tolerance work in metals, composites, and similar materials where standard drill sizes are too large.
This micro drill bit is built for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision hand-held spindles where small-diameter, high-accuracy holes are required. The 15 mm spiral flute length provides adequate chip evacuation in shallow-to-moderate depth holes. The miniature series designation indicates it is engineered for fine work — circuit board drilling, watch and instrument components, mold and die work, and similar precision applications. The straight-cylindrical shank is compatible with standard collet chucks and drill chucks that accept 3 mm shanks.
Designed as a miniature-series replacement or stock drill bit for any CNC machining center, drill press, or precision spindle equipped with a collet or chuck accepting a 3.00 mm straight shank.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians familiar with small-diameter carbide tooling. Secure the shank fully in a precision collet or drill chuck before operation — carbide micro drills are brittle and sensitive to side loading or runout. Ensure the spindle and workholding are powered down and locked out before changing tooling. Do not apply excessive feed pressure; carbide micro drills are prone to breakage if feed rates are not matched to the material and spindle speed.
