The ACCUPRO A-6120245R is a solid carbide micro drill bit engineered for precision small-diameter drilling in demanding machining applications. Built to the Miniature Series standard, it features a 2.45 mm (0.0965 inches) cutting diameter, a 120-degree drill point angle, and a bright/uncoated finish. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 3.00 mm in diameter, and the bit runs a 12.00 mm flute length within an overall length of 38.00 mm. The right-hand cutting direction and regular spiral flute type deliver consistent chip evacuation in high-precision bores. Solid carbide construction provides the rigidity and wear resistance needed for tight-tolerance work in hard or abrasive materials.
This micro drill bit is suited for CNC machining centers, benchtop mills, and drill presses where fine-diameter holes are required. Typical applications include electronics component manufacturing, precision instrument work, mold and die operations, and aerospace or medical part production. The standard point geometry and spiral flute design make it appropriate for through-holes and blind holes in metals, composites, and engineered plastics where dimensional accuracy is critical. It is sold individually per package, with a minimum order quantity of 10 units.
Designed as an OEM-style precision micro drill bit for use in standard 3.00 mm straight-cylindrical collets or chucks on CNC machining centers and manual drill presses capable of holding Miniature Series tooling.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out, de-energized state per applicable machine-guarding and lockout/tagout procedures. Verify collet or chuck runout before securing the shank to maintain bore accuracy at this diameter. Carbide tooling is brittle and should never be struck or dropped. Inspect the cutting edges before each use and replace the bit at the first sign of chipping or wear to prevent workpiece damage.
