The ACCUPRO A-6120209R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for small-diameter, high-precision drilling applications. Built from solid carbide throughout, this bit delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required when drilling tight-tolerance holes at the 2.09 mm (0.0823 inch) diameter range. The 120-degree point angle suits general-purpose work in a wide range of materials, and the bright uncoated finish keeps it ready to run without additional prep. The spiral flute design promotes chip evacuation during the cut, reducing heat buildup and helping maintain hole quality. At 38 mm overall length, it fits standard collet and chuck setups used in CNC and manual drilling operations.
This miniature series drill bit is suited for precision machining environments where small hole diameters are required in metal, plastics, or composite materials. Typical applications include circuit board drilling, small component fabrication, toolroom work, and detail machining on fixtures or molds. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 3.00 mm diameter allows secure clamping in standard collets, drill chucks, and quick-change toolholders common in machining centers and bench drill presses. Right-hand cut geometry is compatible with conventional clockwise spindle rotation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use miniature drill bit compatible with standard collet systems, drill chucks, and quick-change toolholders accepting a 3.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and use should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Secure the shank fully within the collet or chuck to the recommended grip depth before running the spindle. Inspect the cutting edge for chips or wear before each use — carbide micro drills are brittle and should not be forced or used in setups with excessive runout. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and applicable shop safety guidelines for spindle speeds and feed rates appropriate to the workpiece material and hole depth.
