The ACCUPRO A-6120150R is a solid carbide micro drill bit engineered for precision drilling in miniature and tight-tolerance applications. The bit measures 1.5 mm in diameter (0.0591 inches) with an overall length of 38 mm and a straight-cylindrical shank diameter of 2.00 mm. A 120-degree point angle provides a sharp, centered entry into workpieces, while the spiral flute design promotes efficient chip evacuation. Manufactured from solid carbide with a bright, uncoated finish, this bit delivers the hardness and wear resistance required for accurate, repeatable drilling in demanding materials. It is suited for machinists, toolmakers, and precision fabricators working at small scales.
This micro drill bit is intended for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision hand-held spindles where small-diameter, high-accuracy holes are required. The miniature series designation makes it appropriate for electronics manufacturing, watch and instrument repair, medical device fabrication, and similar fine-tolerance work. The right-hand cutting direction suits standard clockwise-rotation spindles. The 7.20 mm flute length accommodates shallow-to-moderate hole depths typical in miniature drilling operations. Coolant-through capability is not available on this model, so external coolant or mist lubrication should be applied as needed for the workpiece material.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature drill bit compatible with standard collet chucks, precision drill chucks, and CNC tool holders accepting a 2.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before loading or removing the bit from the chuck or collet. Verify runout on the shank with an indicator before use, as even minor runout at this diameter can cause deflection or breakage. Apply appropriate cutting fluid or mist lubrication externally when drilling materials that generate heat, and reduce feed rate incrementally when drilling hard or abrasive substrates.
